The project UQUID, which issues a debit card with the support of 90 different cryptocurrency, announced the start of the ICO. The project team intends to raise $ 100 million for the further development of the ecosystem and to gain the status of a leader in the field of e-commerce built on the blockchain. The UQUID platform was launched in 2016 and by now has processed more than 11 million transactions. The company issued more than 51 thousand cards, delivering them to 174 countries around the world. In addition, users can download unlimited amounts of cards in US dollars, British pounds and euros and use funds to pay for various services: utility bills, telephone bills, television and Internet, shopping, transport services. UQUID also offers e-wallet services, including Paypal, Western Union and OKPay.

Future plans

The final goal of the project - is to create a platform that allows money transfers using cryptocurrency, as well as platforms for trading. In the future, in order to maximize revenues, the UQUID team plans to establish a fund managing cryptocurrencies. Also, the company plans to build a cryptocurrency shopping system without the use of cards, which will allow users to make purchases on sites like Amazon and Ebay.

As per expectations of the project team, by 2022 UQUID will support direct cryptocurrency transfers to bank accounts of users, and will also provide an opportunity to cash out cryptocurrencies.
